  29. There is both a long running Blitz mailing list and a Blitz newsgroup which
  30. I think has been going for just as long.

  32. Blitz has plenty of ftp sites with extensions for just about everything, even
  33. an extension that emulates some of the AMOS commands such as banks etc...

  35. As far as I know Aminet wouldn't allow the creation of yet another BASIC as
  36. there's already an AMOS directory. I mean if they had a directory for every
  37. type of Basic language it would be a pretty large list and then you could
  38. say the same about 'C' or 'Asm'...

  40. This sort of thing went on for weeks in the blitz list and there were plenty
  41. of good points about both packages. You should choose the best package for
  42. each job rather than just sticking to one thing. AMOS wins when it comes to
  43. speed of creation as well as in plenty of other things. The point is both
  44. packages have things that can't be done with the other so lets not continue
  45. with deciding on which is the best....

  47. One sad fact is that 'Blitz 3' is in the making but AMOS is not being developed
  48. in the right places....
